     B’nai Israel is offering a PreK/K Sunday School class tuition-free. 
 It is open to all those interested. Synagogue membership is not required. 
We need at least 4 children for this to be a viable program.

Oneg Shabbat News

There are lots of dates available for sponsoring an Oneg Shabbat (Friday evening) or a Saturday morning Kiddush. Did you know that it is considered a mitzvah to sponsor an Oneg? If you would like to honor someone’s anniversary, birthday, in fact, any special occasion, please take advantage of the opportunity to honor a special someone!

Sisterhood Giftshop

     Did you know that the Sisterhood Giftshop has almost one hundred pieces of jewelry ranging from tie tacks and tallis clips to earrings, necklaces, and key chains? We have all sorts of children's items including books, toys and puzzles. We also have other gift items. Remember, ritual religious items can be given as gifts. Do you have the items necessary for Havdallah at home, or camping, or after a family gathering? Do you have a mezuzah on your door? What about your back door? We have a great inventory and we also do special orders. Beryl Cohen is the person to call. She can be reached at 643-2681. Check with us on Sunday mornings after school begins again for our regular hours. We also have a great selection of holiday and gift cards - single and in packages. Remember to shop local.

 

Congregation Cafe Bon Appetit  open on Sundays at 9:30am for bagels and cream cheese;  The cafe will be open the same days as the school is open.  Volunteers and special guests or groups are welcome to call or e- mail Fern Bernstein.
